What is Plant Atlanta?

Plant Atlanta is an immersive church planting experience for teens and young adults.

What started as an experiment to help a healthy church get started in the Salt Lake Valley has turned into a premier destination experience for HS teens and young adults who want to get immersed a culture of church planting and revitalization. Plant Atlanta focuses in on assisting church plants, replants, and revitalizations in and around the Greater Atlanta Metropolitan area.

Teen Camp meets Mission Trip

Blending the best aspects of the traditional teen camp experience with a missions trip, Plant Atlanta focuses the experience to help the teens and young adults break out of their comfort-zone and share the gospel of Jesus with the culture in Atlanta and its suburbs. In addition to strengthening their skills and burdens for outreach, they are also exposed to hands-on church planting. Sessions every day not only develop the participants spiritually, but encourage life-long commitments to serve their local churches and engage mission for their whole lives regardless of their profession. Expositional studies and small groups ensure a Word-based discipleship focus that enables individuals to be challenged and grow.

3-Prong Ministry Strategy

Throughout the week the group will engage in serving the church plant in 3 dynamic and strategic ways.

• First, through INFORMING the community about the church. Teens will spend time hanging door-hangers and other information about the church throughout the entire local context of the church plant.

• Second, by SERVING the community, the group enables strategic relational bridges to be built into the community for maximum impact for the churches future ministries.

• Third, the group will engage in strategic PROCLAIMING of the gospel with the church plant’s ministries and build positive gospel connections with the people in the community.
